YEAR: 1955 MAKE: Ford MODEL: Thunderbird EXTERIOR: Raven Black INTERIOR: Black / White Two-Tone ENGINE: 292 Y block 4v Carburetor TRANS: Ford-O-Matic automatic This Thunderbird is a fine example of a very original and well cared for vehicle since new. Only 3 owners total, this car just received it's first repaint since new - A very high quality bare metal respray in Raven Black. (Photos available of professional repaint.) All original bumpers, trim and bright work in great shape. The original seat was recently restitched, using the original upholstery - in excellent condition. The White top was recently replaced and is in excellent condition. The car still features all original "born with" sheetmetal, no signs of previous accidents or repairs. 116,000 original miles on the car. Rebuilt 292 within the last 10,000 miles. Runs and drives great. New Fuel tank, brakes and exhaust system. The electric seat works great. *** A side note to this car... it was purchased from the 2nd owner earlier this year in Yarnell, AZ. who had stored the car in his barn for many years. Tragically, much of Yarnell, Arizona was recently burned to the ground in a recent wild fire. Had this car not been purchased by the current owner, it may have very well been lost to the fire that has wiped out much of the town. The car won awards for the local car show in Yarnell, AZ. in 1986 (2nd) and 1991 (1st). Awards recently found under the seat.
